So far on my trip I have: worked on the RHF budget, gone snorkeling, written a few hundred lines of Matlab code, and thats about it (hey, i’ve only been on the trip for 24 hours now, gimme a break)

While snorkeling I found $2 Sand Dollars!!! I’m rich, i’m rich… but one broke in my hands, so i’m only half as rich now. Assuming I don’t find any other shells worth keeping Belle gets it, shes the first (cough) only (cough) person that asked for a shell, so i’m more than happy to provide

It was cool though, I swam with three barracudas, a jellyfish (actually, i swam AWAY from it when I saw it) but the coolest was the:

STINGRAY!! Holy crap those things are cool, they clide so easily across the bottom. I found it by apparently swimming towards it and then it moved. So I followed it around. They are soo manuverable.

Stingrays are definately cool though (this thing was about the size of a sewer cover, so it was pretty sweet)

The water here is so cool looking, you know (maybe you don’t) it’s that bluish green awesome tropical water color. Amazingly enough, with all the places I’ve lived and seen, I have never seen anything like it in person. Amazing!

Ok, techincally i’m working right now… so i’ll see if i can’t post again later

P.S. Yeah, today i got to snorkel… today is the first day we’re in the Bahama’s… those two are linked, since we’re not ready to test, i have less work to do, so of the 2 weeks i’m here… this is my time off we’ll see what i can do though
