Ok, so my home in maryland (aka my home away from home/my second home) sucks…

…no high speed internet (well… not ‘legally’… more on that later)
…none of my friends are in town yet
…and there isnt enough food around the house
…my bed is hard
…i have NO music (cause it’s all on my ‘media’ computer, which is at school)

internet:
yeah… currently i’m mooching off of one of my neighbors open wireless access points (and they have high speed net). Thanks guys for not encrypting your shit (i actually have 3 to choose from, and am currently logged into the one that is across the street… i think that’s where it is…)

being a technology oriented family (well… myself and my dad at least) it greatly surprises me that i don’t have highspeed internet at my home. the problem lies in the fact that we don’t have cable tv (we have satellite tv) and my dad has two ‘tivo’ receivers for said satellite system… and DSL is unavailable here cause it’s a new house and the phone company is retarded.

i’m glad to see that people are posting more now, even if it’s a result of the short thanksgiving break. it’ll all die back down when we’re back in school… start up again for winterbreak and then die off again when spring semester starts back up…

definately glad i’m not in rhf anymore, no offense to those that remain. you should all receive medals for putting up with all the advisor shit that you do (yeah, student programs, i said it)
for those not in the know… apparently the people over at student programs read people’s live journals (not everyone, just those of us lucky enough to be on their shit list) if you’re on said list you know who you are, which is why people lock their lj’s so only friends can read it. whatever. if you want to read this shit, student programs, go right ahead… feel free to post a comment or two if you want… and check out (haha)
