Intermission

Sorry, that was a really long Intermission. I took my Dynamics test not long ago (about 3 hours ago) and I think I DOMINATED IT. Dynamics has been pretty easy so far this year. Deforms, however is not the same. That class sucks big time (and I have a test in it Wednesday).

Senate/RHF (cont.)

Ron asked me the other day if I would consider applying to be a BOD for RHF next year… and I LAUGHED IN HIS FACE. I understand this was kinda a mean thing to do, but sometimes I can be a jerk. I did give him some conditions, however, if he did want me ‘officially’ apart of the organization:

  1. No Office Hours
  2. NO meetings with the ‘advisors’
  3. Some kind of cool name… Coordinator of [insert something cool here]

(positions can be temporarily created)
But as I was writing down that short list (there were more, but I forgot) I definately realized that there really is NO WAY I would be officially apart of that organization again. I’ll help Ron out though if he needs it (obviously). He’s one of my best friends here, so that’s a no-brainer.
If any of my friends ever need help, I’d like to think that they could always come to me for assistance.

Senate will be good for me though. It should introduce me to a lot more people and hopefully I can make a difference around campus.

Organization

I was in a bit of an unmotivational funk yesterday for some reason, but it was apparently short-lived (the trip to the gym may have helped with that).
I began getting really organized after my gym trip though. I’ve been using my Axim a lot more lately, and it’s really quite useful. I sync it with Outlook so I have all my email and whatnot on the go. I also have a wireless card in it so I can access the internet in class if I need to (comes in handy for downloading class notes on the fly… story about that later).
I put my entire schedule in it now, including any dinner/lunch plans, meetings, tests, assignments due, whatever, it’s all in there and I know what’s goin on all the time.
Story:
In the beginning of Naval Architecture class today, Dr. McCue said we could download some hydrostatic properties notes online when we got back to our rooms. Well, I had my Axim with me, so I decided I would just download them then. Class continues… at some point she asks the question: What units will these have? (It was a rhettorical question, cause no one should have had them figured out by then) But I raise my hand and startle her with the correct answer. Yup, the downloaded class notes on my Axim was right. So right, that it ended up in asking to see my Axim and then telling me I could have it back after class… (flashback to high school)

Note to self: don’t fall for tricks to "see my axim" next time in class

Next post: Maybe an update on O.R.A.C.L.E. if Adam agrees to declassify it.
