Never Too Late…

31 Mar

Work out:

So far so good. I’ve completed 14 days of my workout plan. Every weekday morning I wake up at 6:30 AM and do pushups, situps, and dumbbell curls. (Then I promptly go back to sleep). So far I’ve beat Mike, Brian, Eric, Kate and Annie. Here’s who I’ve got left:

-Ayron Wall: 15 days
-Rob Story: 16 days
-Jon Cooney: 28 days
-Mike Kaz: 40 days
-Adam Marrs: 2 years (thanks bro)

The last couple of mornings I actually woke up before my alarm went off. Maybe that means I’m getting into the habbit of it. Good for me either way. I’ve noticed a nice improvement.

E-Week
Engineering week was last week. The OE’s represented quite well for the AOE department. We tied for 1st place in the Duct Tape competition:

That’s Bryan Schmitt, next year’s Social Chair for SNAME. Him and my roommate Kirk got 1st place in the egg drop competition too. Me and 2 other people from the department participated in the Date Auction.

Jenny and Amy bought me for a nice $25. Not bad considering I was the 2nd to last person to be auctioned off and everyone had left (they were running about 40 minutes late at that point). We’ll be having pizza from PKs and then playing with my wii (…wii as in nintendo… get your mind out of the gutter).

I ordered two games for the wii… Madden 07 and Raving Rabbids. I also ordered the component video cables, 2 more wiimote-combos and also a 500 Gb external hard drive (long overdue)

Ring Dance:
Believe it or not I spontaneously went to Ring Dance last friday. It was pretty nice. Ran in to a bunch of people I haven’t seen in a while. Had a hot date too… Kate Laflin. Had lunch with her earlier that day, neither of us had anything else to do so we decided to go for kicks. Still waiting to get that one picture we have together from her.

Shopping List:

  • Digital SLR Camera
  • Macbook Pro

Mac Setup

19 Mar

I need a setup like this:

Mac Setup

I should be getting a Macbook Pro over the summer. I wish I had a glass-topped desk though… Maybe I’ll buy one when I move in to my next apartment.

This one is sweet too:
