What’s been going on with me?
I’m back in MD at my parents place.

I spent the last week after exams in Blacksburg doing some thesis work. For a few days I focused on the problem of “fitting square pegs in round holes”. Really it has to do with me writing an algorithm to do the preliminary arrangement of all the components that go into AUVs. Basically a cake walk right? Well after 2-3 days of writing code, i solved a basic version of the problem of fitting square pegs in a round hole. My code will (more or less) put things in the smallest cylinder possible (with random generated boxes), but it doesnt do anything with the center of gravity. I’ve decided to take a break on adding that in, because it adds a considerable amount of complexity to that particular problem.

My next step is to look more at the resistance. I’m fairly optimistic that I’ll be able to finish my Masters by the end of the spring semester. Enough about thesis/school stuff though.

Socially not too much is goin on. If I wasnt workin on my thesis stuff I was most likely hangin out with the bro, A-bomb. I’ll be here in MD for the week. Don’t know what I’m doing for New Years yet. If anyone knows of anything let me know.
