So it took me a little more than 23 years… but I just realized that coffee boosts my productivity by about 1000%. And I’m not talking about a cup an hour… I had one cup of coffee today around lunch time and worked the remainder of the day… no questions asked. Awesome. Over the next month I’m going to need that. My time here at tech is winding down. Everyone I know that is still here has countdowns going on… XX many days til graduation!!!! All it does for me is add on the stress… each day closer we are to graduation… is a day closer I need to be ready to defend. I’ve got a great start on the first 3 chapters of my thesis… but I don’t have any data… so the remaining 3 chapters can’t really be worked on. And right now the optimization results (which should be done by tomorrow) look a bit funny.

Found out this week that Carrie will be working with me in the submarine group. That’ll be neat. Hmm… what else… My wife Jenny came down to Tech this weekend to deliver an awesome painting last year’s sub design team got her to make for Dr Brown as a thank you.

Belle (my mistress) also came into town. As did Ron Forbes. (They did not bring paintings) There were a LOT of people in town this weekend. Understandable since it was the weekend after 4-16, but there was also the spring game.
